Description:
This headboard belonged to my late parent’s. They purchased it in the 1970s from a local furniture store. The receipt described it as brass antique, which is believed related to the finish. The handwriting on the receipt was difficult to decipher, but one word appears to be Steen. We are uncertain if Steen is the maker, or if it is referring to being Dutch in style.
Measurements are as follows:
Height: 48 inches
Length: 54.5 inches at knobs
We hope to find someone locally who can use this very nice headboard. We seriously considered keeping it ourselves, but already have headboards this size that go with bedroom sets.
Condition:
This headboard was used in the guest room, so usage was minimal. It shows minimal signs of wear consistent with its age and use. The headboard appears to be in very good to near excellent and solid condition. Due to being stored for some time, it will require cleaning.
Availability Note:
This headboard will be listed for a limited time while clearing my family home. If unsold, it will be transported and placed in storage. Winter hit earlier than expected back home, so we postponed our transport trip until early spring.
