    in 1993, this richly colored intarsia cardigan kit has inset drop shoulder sleeves and a deep paisley intarsia border.  This project is suitable for experienced knitters with intarsia experience.  Knit from 11 shades of  vintage Rowan lightweight DK wool.  The cardigan comes in a single size with a finished chest/bust measurement of 45.5 inches.   The pattern calls for a tension of 27 stitches and 37 rows to 4 inches (10 cm) on US 3 (3.25 mm) needles.

    he kit contains a copy of the pattern with oversized charts, buttons, a sew in label, and all the vintage Rowan lightweight dk wool you require to complete the cardigan in the following shades:   Black (62), Wine (602), Rose (70), Rust (77), Grass (404), Forest (73), Pine (91), Purple (99), Petrol (54), Blue (53), and Old Gold (11).  This was an original Rowan yarn pack so dye lots match for each shade.
    As with all of our RareRowan kits, this pack has been carefully stored in a non-smoking home, and these vintage yarns and fabric will arrive to you in pristine condition.
