Kaffe Fassett Mambo Jambo Vest Kit - Rowan Book 33 - Rowan Cotton Glace and 4 ply Cotton - Mostly Discontinued Shades
From Rowan Book 33, published in the spring of 2003, Mambo Jambo is one of Kaffe's easiest fair isle designs to create.  Using 16 shades of Rowan 4 ply cotton and cotton glace, the design will work up very quickly.  Suitable for intermediate knitters. The pattern can be made in any of five sizes from small with a finished bust/chest measurement of 44 inches to XXLarge with a finished bust/chest measurement of 52 inches.  Regular fit with side shaping and a v neckline.   The pattern calls for a tension of 25 stitches and 32 rows to 4 inches (10 cm) on US 3 (3.25 mm) needles.

Rowan Cotton Glace is currently in production.  All but three of the colors featured in this sweater have been discontinued for years.  Rowan 4 ply cotton has been discontinued for a decade.

he kit contains a copy of the pattern including over sized charts and sufficient yarn to knit the vest in any of the five sizes:  Cotton Glace in delight (806), bubbles (724), blood orange (445), hyacinth (787), mystic (808), spice (807), passion (805), bud (800), dijon (739), sunny (802), and sky (749); 4 ply cotton in aegean (129), night sky (115), fandango (128), marine (102), and flirty (127).  In total there are 20 balls included.
As with all of our RareRowan kits, this pack has been carefully stored in a non-smoking home, and these vintage yarns and fabric will arrive to you in pristine condition.
